Print files

How to prepare your print files: formats, resolution, bleed and cut line.

You get the best result with a print-ready file – but don’t worry: with every order we check your artwork and email you a digital proof with the cut line for approval before production.

Accepted formats

  • Vector (recommended): PDF, AI, EPS, SVG – fonts converted to outlines.
  • Image file: PNG or JPG, at least 300 dpi at final size. For die-cut stickers PNG with a transparent background.
  • Maximum file size: 100 MB.

Colours

We print in the CMYK colour space. We also accept RGB files, but bright RGB colours (neon green, vivid blue) may come out slightly duller. We prepare the white underprint for clear and metallic material.

Bleed and safety margin

  • Bleed: the background colour should extend 2 mm beyond the cut line.
  • Safety margin: place important text and logos at least 2 mm away from the cut line.
  • Smallest legible font size: 6 pt.

Cut line

For square, round and rounded-corner shapes you don’t need to do anything. For die-cut and kiss-cut stickers we draw the cut line along your artwork. If you send your own, create it as a separate line in a spot colour set to 100% magenta (CMYK), for example named “CutContour”.
